If your idea of owning a new Jeep model involves washing a lot of mud off the sides and scaling steep mountain trails, then perhaps you should have tuned in for this year's Los Angeles Auto Show. This event brought together automakers from all over the world where they displayed their latest and greatest products to American audiences. Our favorite off-road manufacturer took this opportunity to introduce a special edition of the iconic Jeep Wrangler that harkens back to its military service.

The Jeep Wrangler Willys Wheeler Edition went on display last month in L.A. and audiences were very impressed. This special edition model was focused on getting back to the roots that have made Jeep vehicles what they are today. When Jeep brand vehicles first became available to the public back in the 50s, the only model available was the CJ-2A. That first-generation Jeep model was the inspiration for this latest creation.

Stripped down and simple, would be the best words for describing the Willys Wheeler Edition. Instead of drivers focusing on the bells and whistles that come with modern car interiors, Jeep designers put the focus on the driving experience by reinforcing the underpinnings and outfitting it with a 285 horsepower Pentastar V6 engine.

In a press release, it was said that the 2014 Wrangler Willys Wheeler Edition will go on sale early next year and would come with a starting price of $29,595. If you would like to learn more about this model or any of the other new Jeep vehicles in the lineup, then please take the time to visit us at the Coppus Motors showroom. We are located at 2190 West Market Street Tiffin, OH. We hope to see you soon.
